Here's the Scoop...

I put together a bunch of OWH cards using some fun stamps and colored them with my new Copic Sketch 25th Anniversary set that my wonderful husband gave me for Christmas.  I'm still learning how to use the Copics but I'm really loving them!  I have some Prismacolors and also the American Crafts Chromatix alcohol markers but I prefer the Copics by far.  They blend so well and they make even a beginner like me feel like an artist!  They also don't roll around the table.
 

All of the cards are the standard A2 size and I used an American Crafts Hip Hip Hooray 6x6 Paper Pad for the patterned papers.  I love the 6x6 pads - the designs are all scaled down so they work great on cards.  I was able to cut enough pieces out of one 36 sheet pad to make 72 cards.  I'll post some of the other cards as I get them done - I changed up the orientation of the design, the stamps I used, and added some ribbon to make them all a little different.  I tried to make sure that none of the pattern paper combinations I used were repeated.  All the papers in the pad coordinate with each other so it was really easy to mix them all up and still have them come out looking great.  The bases are just the basic white card stock you can get at Sam's and the solid card stock is Core'dinations brand.  I just grabbed several primary colors and they worked great with the patterned papers.

All of these cards will be going to OWH.

Supplies:
Main base:  4" x 5 1/4"
Strip on right side:  1" x 5 1/4"
Center colored square: 3" x 3"
Center white square: 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"
Both the ice cream and the backing card stock were punched with a 2" Fiskars punch - circle and scallop.
Stamp Set:  Fiskars The Sweet Life (#136770-0001)
Ink:  Momento Dew Drop (I used Rhubarb Stalk on the card above)
Copics:  E42, E47 for cone and various duos and triplets for the ice cream - BV11, BV13, and BV17; YR12, YR15, and YR68; BG01 and BG07; R81 and R85; YG00 and YG06; G43 and G46; RV00 and RV55 (that's what I used on the sample card above); Y32 and Y35; B000 and B28; and B91 and B95.  I even tried using one single color (RV43) and layering the color on itself in order to get the effect of rounded surfaces and light reflection.
Adhesive:  Scotch Advanced Tape Glider (ATG)

Shopping Note:  I found the 6 x 6 pad of 36 papers for $2.99 and the Fiskars stamp sets for $4.99 at my local Tuesday Morning.  If you have one of those stores, you've got to check it out.  I find so many awesome paper crafting bargains there!!  But...if you find something you like, grab it up - they never have the same thing twice.
